The first DrinkMore Water Store opened in Rockville, Maryland in 1993. The idea behind the stores was that people would be willing to drive to the stores and haul DrinkMore Water home since the water being produced was extremely pure and tasted fantastic. The concept turned out to be extremely popular, as a loyal customer base was established, with many customers driving great distances to fill up with DrinkMore Water. In 1996, after numerous requests that the company deliver the water to customers’ homes and offices, DrinkMore Delivery began operations, delivering five gallon bottles of DrinkMore Water throughout the greater Washington and Baltimore region. What began as a fleet of a few vans now comprises almost thirty distinctive red DrinkMore Water trucks. In 2001, DrinkMore Custom Water was founded to package the already-popular DrinkMore Water in single serve bottles with extremely high quality custom labels. Our slogan is that we make it easy to drink your water, a play on DrinkMore Water, and we really mean it. Our in-house design staff can handle the entire label design process and we do not charge for our professional design services. We have even established programs for our customers with space constraints so that they can receive their water in relatively small quantities yet still receive volume pricing. In 2006, we moved our operations into a larger facility and installed a brand new production line to enable us to keep up with the company’s growth. Our new plant can produce over three thousand cases of water per shift and our just-in-time production system is designed such that existing customers’ orders are produced within one business day of being placed. In many cases, our customers’ orders are shipped the same day they are placed. In 2007, DrinkMore Custom Water was recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing privately held companies in the United States.
